Please read the included user manual for your Minikod plugin carefully.

Our plugins are designed to work on Windows as 64bit VST3.

What do I get with Minikod Remote plugins?

Our Remote series is for hardware with comprehensive MIDI capabilities. With them you get a plugin like workflow where all your hardware settings are saved within your DAW session with total recall.

You get extra memory storage, basically an unlimited number of presets.

Upon reopening your DAW session open your Minikod Remote plugin and press the Send button. All settings will be instantaneously be sent to your hardware.

If your hardware, like many Volca synths doesn’t have a MIDI output you can record automation to your DAW by moving the on-screen controls. You will then also have a visual feedback on what is being automated.

Keep in mind that all our Remote plugins may require an exclusive hardware MIDI output port to operate depending on the Windows MIDI driver version on your system.

What do I get with Minikod Recall plugins?

Our Recall series is for hardware with no MIDI control support and no preset storage. Back in the day when analog synth first appeared on the market people would write the settings down to a piece of paper.

With the big comeback of analog synths a lot of them still don’t have preset storage onboard. Instead of writing your synth settings to paper you can simply load the appropriate Recall plugin as an insert on your hardware synth’s audio channel , copy the settings from your synth and save your DAW session.

When you reopen your DAW session, open your Minikod Recall plugin and manually copy the settings from your screen to your hardware synth. You don’t have to keep your settings for weeks, or fear of starting a new track and loose your sound anymore.
